The short version: minimal data, no tracking, easy exit.

This site collects the minimum data needed to run a newsletter and count visits. No accounts, no advertising, no data sale — ever.

What is collected

Newsletter email. If you subscribe, your email address is stored with Resend and used only to send essays you opted into. Nothing else is requested.
Aggregate analytics. Page-view counts via Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.
Theme preference. A light/dark choice kept in your browser’s local storage.

What is never collected

Names, passwords, payment details, precise location, or behavioral profiles. The subscribe API accepts an email address and nothing else — the full contract is published in /openapi.json.

Only the theme preference described above, stored locally and never used for tracking. There are no third-party tracking cookies on this site.

Your controls

Unsubscribe any time from the link in every email or at /unsubscribe. Removal from the audience is immediate.
To inspect or delete your subscriber record entirely, email hi@bharath.sh and it will be handled promptly.
